I keep hoping to see consumer applications available of that amazing gizmo that turns any surface into a touchscreen. But it seems we are still waiting for companies to manufacture products incorporating the Light Touch technology that has been developed by Light Blue Optics. While we now have access to an almost unimaginable wealth of information via the internet, one unavoidable consequence is determining the accuracy of that information. Anyone, and his brother or sister, including me, can proffer information on any number of subjects. The challenge is to weed out the accurate from the inaccurate on the web.

While not the player I have, a nifty little one like nothing I’ve seen before was unveiled in Las Vegas at the International CES earlier this month. What's so different is that Samsung’s Ice Touch actually has a see-through screen. While it is apparently not yet available in North America, one can see a brief demo of it from that consumer electronics show.
