I thought we could all use something lighter after my last couple of posts about pet food. I know I could. While I think it’s a hugely important issue, I can only think about it so much, and hope you welcome the break as well. We all just do the best we can, and hope to keep on learning and doing better. Someone once said about animals and their relationship with people, “They give us everything they’ve got.” Truly amazing beings I learn from everyday.

Among their countless gifts, they can make us laugh and smile as we get a kick out of things they do without them even knowing just how cute they are, or how much joy they bring us. While there are many great videos out there, I came across a really neat one of a cat who found a terrific way to combine showering and drinking all at the same time.

Some of you may have already seen this, but it still gets me every time I see it. Just when you think it can’t go on any longer, that the showers can’t be any different from what we’ve already seen, this cat somehow finds a way to do just that. Quite a shower repertoire. And hey, who needs a water bowl when you have a shower in the sink…
