Hard to believe it’s already been a hundred days and a hundred posts since I started this blog. And yet at the same time, I almost can’t remember not writing here daily. Of course what does that say about my memory then? But once you start doing something you place great value on, as I do this site, it just becomes a part of your day.
I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you all for visiting. I hope you are enjoying the mix of subjects I’ve written about so far. If there’s ever something you’d like to see here, please let me know. I don’t want the site to be too commercial, but a certain amount of advertising does help keep the site up and running. But I only allow companies that I personally have supported or admired over the years.
One of the changes since the inception of this site, is the addition of a newsletter that I periodically email to interested subscribers. I’m always on the lookout for special deals and offers, especially when they are eco-centric. While I occasionally post in depth about a certain cool gadget or amazing enviro-friendly invention, I don’t blog about them all. This newsletter offers a non-invasive way to share other great finds. It also includes mentions of special blogs and other little tidbits. If you’d like to be on the mailing list for this newsletter, there’s a signup form to the right of this post. And I promise, no spam, unless I’m ever taking about canned semi-fake meat products.

It would be an easier way to have interactive conversations than leaving comments back and forth. If there’s interest in having this option, I’d be very happy to set it up. Just leave a comment letting me know. And yes, I do realize the irony in that.
I have also recently started writing at Helium.com. It’s a great resource for reading and writing articles on just about every subject. Helium is “a knowledge co-operative where our writers are also our editors who read and rate every article on the site.” So far I have written articles on the benefits of raw feeding your dog, tips for learning to play the harp, and how to leash train your cat.
Well it’s time for one of those cat walks, so until tomorrow when the next 100 begin. Cheers!
