Award-winning actress Kathleen Gati has just said some very nice things about my novel, Life's Attic. I feel truly honoured.

"Just finished reading your book. WOW!!! It is truly a beautiful study of pure love, devotion, life, death and so much more. I savored every word and truly enjoyed it! I look forward to reading your Continue reading the story "What’s Being Said About Life’s Attic?"

Publishing of Life’s Attic Getting Closer

My novel, Life's Attic, is being typeset as I speak (or type), and the cover art is being finalized as well. There have been more steps to this whole book writing/publishing process than I ever would have thought. But it's all fascinating to me, even though each part seems to take ten times longer than I think it should. Hopefully that will make it all Continue reading the story "Publishing of Life’s Attic Getting Closer"

The entire process has been really fulfilling and exciting! But it has left little time for other writing. Hopefully I'll find a way to do both – perhaps with more shorter Continue reading the story "Blog Update June 2012"

writersblockIn addition to this blog, I’ve been doing some other writing lately. Working on a project that is in a new format for me, but one I’m really enjoying as well. And writer’s block has periodically reared its odd little head. Fortunately it’s not been for long. But it reminds me in a different sort Continue reading the story "Writer’s Block and Not"

Hard to believe it’s already been a hundred days and a hundred posts since I started this blog. And yet at the same time, I almost can’t remember not writing here daily. Of course what does that say about my memory then? But once you start doing something you place great value on, as I do this site, it just becomes a part of your Continue reading the story "What’s New As We Hit Post 100 Today"

Powerless…A Great Comfort

Anthony Hopkins just has a way of saying things, and I’m talking beyond the famous Hannibal Lecter Chianti line. One phrase that has stayed with me, and that I can still hear in my head at will, is from Meet Joe Black. As Bill Parish at his birthday celebration, he muses to his guests, Continue reading the story "Powerless…A Great Comfort"
